About Us

Royale Crown Construction is a licensed general contractor serving the greater metropolitan area of Minneapolis/St. Paul, surrounding area, St. Cloud and western Wisconsin.  Simple or complex, your home, business, cabin, or investment property, Royale Crown Construction, Inc. is staffed with professionals providing disaster restoration for a combined 40+ years of experience. 

Serving the needs of both residential and commercial clients, the Disaster Restoration Division of Royale Crown Construction mission statement is committed to providing our customers expertise and honesty in evaluating and reconstructing their residence or business to pre-loss condition.  This journey together, results in our ultimate goal of complete customer satisfaction.

Biography of Corporate Staff

Chris Barrett
Owner

Chris Barrett has been involved with the construction industry for over 25 years.  Continually striving to produce the best in quality, construction, and customer satisfaction, Chris not only oversees the business activities of Royale Crown, but actively participates in day to day management of providing the best service to Royale Crown’s customers.

Chris started in the cabinetry part of the business, building not only the business but currently providing state of the art equipment and production for residential and commercial needs.  Chris is also owner of Barrett’s Custom Woodworking, Inc.  This sister company to Royale Crown provides custom wood working, cabinetry, and other custom products for new building needs as well as reworking and replacing cabinetry in the disaster restoration industry.  Matching materials, production, and final installation to produce the exact cabinetry and accessories damaged or lost in water or fire loss is unique in the disaster restoration industry.

Chris has a passion for assisting customers through the disaster restoration process from start to finish with countless customers referring their friends and neighbors to Royale Crown Construction, Inc. for all of their disaster needs.

Estimator/Project Manager

Royale Crown Construction has several Estimator/Project Managers that are experts within Disaster Restoration.  Knowing the procedures and protocol to immediately take charge of the project from its initial emergency and notification stage, through the insurance programming, project scope, and reconstruction phase, provides you with the confidence that your claim will be processed professionally and timely. 

Estimator/Project Managers use the same computer program, Xactimate, that the adjuster for the insurance company uses, eliminating valuable time in coming to an agreed upon scope for your project.  Speaking a common claim language gets your project started sooner and completed faster.  Every project is assigned to an estimator/Project Manager to keep your communication with Royale Crown Construction streamlined and effective.

Project Coordination

Each Estimator/Project Manager works hand in hand with an assigned Project Coordinator chosen to match the needs of your project with his experience and background.  The Project Coordinator is the nuts and bolts person.  He orders materials, supplies, personnel, and equipment to run the day to day workings of your project, making sure we are on schedule, have the correct products and materials, assuring your reconstruction is duplicating what you started with in the first place. 

Project Coordinators are experts in value engineering, materials, and methods.  You get what you expected, because it’s done to high standards of quality and workmanship, replacing components and materials that match what you had prior to your lose.  Flexibility in the Project Coordinators role always us to work with your lifestyle, business needs, and requirements, to conduct your life and business as smoothly as possible, through this transitional time.

Accounting, Administration, Operations

These functions are working along side your Estimator/Project Manager and Project Coordinator assuring the process is moving smoothly from documenting and processing insurance and non-insurance items, to updating schedules, confirming with suppliers and subcontractors, processing building permits with your city, confirming quantities, etc.  We meet weekly with your Project Manager and Coordinator confirming all is going smoothly, according to plan and execution.
